Adriano extends contract with Barca

Barcelona full-back Adriano Correia has signed a new four-year contract to stay with the Spanish champions until 2017.
The 28-year-old has enjoyed three successful seasons at the Camp Nou, helping the Catalan club to eight trophies, including two league titles and the Champions League.
After signing for Barca from Sevilla in the summer of 2010 in a €9.5million deal, the Brazilian has gone on to establish himself as an important figure in Tito Vilanova's first-team.
Adriano's ability to play in a number of different positions makes him a valuable asset in the senior squad, and now Barcelona have decided to reward the South American star with a new long-term contract.
"FC Barcelona have agreed to terms with Adriano Correia to renew the player's contract for four additional seasons, through June 30 of 2017," a statement on the Barca official website.
"The player's buyout clause is set at 90million euros (£77m)."
Adriano has scored 10 goals in 105 appearances for Barcelona, and even spent time playing in central defence this season, as cover during the club's injury crisis.
Having spent eight years in La Liga, after joining Sevilla from hometown club Coritiba in 2005, he's gone on to establish himself as one of the best marauding full-backs in all of Spain, and will now be looking to see out his playing days with Barcelona.
