Thiago going out?

Reports from Barcelona based radio station RAC1 claim this evening that Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara is considering his future and Manchester City are interested.
The 22-year-old Spaniard (of Brazilian origin) has been made available for transfer by Barcelona, who are effectively sounding out the market for his value. According to Catalan paper El Mundo Deportivo.
Thiago sees the Premier League as a likely destination and Manchester City have a long standing interest in the playmaker.
His current contract has a buyout clause of 90 million euros but reports over recent days say he could be signed for Manchester City for a fee of 20 million euros.
Likely incoming Manchester City coach Manuel Pellegrini could well look to bring in Alcantara to Eastlands with Director of Football Txiki Begiristain in a good position to raid his former club.
It would be a massive coup if City could lure Thiago Alcantara away from the Nou Camp. Although not quite first choice for Barcelona, there is no doubt he is an outstanding talent.
