Valdes may go to Monaco

Big spending Monaco are currently being linked to a number of stars after the €60 million signings of Porto’s James Rodriguez and Joao Moutinho.
Marca are reporting that Barcelona goalkeeper Victor Valdes travelled to Monaco today to discuss a possible move, before hopefully completing his medical on Tuesday.
The acquisition is likely to cost Monaco €10 million. That’s only a fraction of the €60 million they’re expected to spend on fellow La Liga star Falcao.
Victor Valdes stated earlier this season that he wouldn’t be signing a new contract at the Nou Camp and with his contract running out in 12 months, he is expected to be sold this summer.
