Puyol to Milan?


Barcelona’s Carles Puyol is reportedly negotiating for a move to AC Milan this summer.
The 35-year-old central defender has previously spoken of his desire to play for the Rossoneri as Paolo Maldini is one of his footballing idols.
According to ‘La porteria’ a programme on local TV station Barcelona Televisió (Btv), the Cules captain is negotiating his departure from the club in order to seal a move to the San Siro.
Puyol has been plagued with injuries this season and despite renewing his contract until 2016, he is thought to be negotiation for a buyout clause of €10 million, while the Rossoneri have already thought to have offered him a deal.
This season, Puyol has managed 13 La Liga appearances for Barcelona, with his last game for the club coincidentally coming in the 4-0 Champions League victory over Milan.
