The 36-year-old has little doubt the Liga giants will
prove to be too strong for their German opposition in the semi-finals
and feels Lionel Messi is ahead of Cristiano Ronaldo
Former Brazil international Ronaldo is confident that both Real Madrid and Barcelona will make it to the Champions League final at Wembley.The Santiago Bernabeu side will have to deal with Borussia Dortmund in the semi-finals, while Barca were paired with Bayern Munich and Ronaldo expects both Spanish giants to progress.
"Madrid will make it to the Champions League final and so will Barca, although I think they'll have a tough time in Munich," the Brazilian told AS.
"I'll be in London for the final and I hope that Madrid win because I'm a Madrid fan."
Ronaldo also had his say on Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo and stated that the Argentine is probably the better player of the two.
"They're the best players I've ever seen. Perhaps Messi is slightly more complete, but they're both very good."
Messi has already netted 57 goals in all competitions for Barca this season, while Ronaldo has scored an impressive 50 goals so far.
