Barca & Madrid to overcome huge deficit for an El Clasico showdown

The chances of either Barcelona or Real Madrid reaching the Champions League final look very slim after 4-0 and 4-1 defeats to Bayern Munich and Borussia Dortmund respectively.
However, we can't rule them out this quickly, can we? Some football lovers may have predicted an all Spanish final opposed to an all German one. However, the Bundesliga sides have proved that they are as capable of playing at Wembley than their respective opponents.
Many Barcelona fans have probably ruled out any chance of overturning their first leg defeat at the Allianz Arena. Star midfielder Xavi for one, claims, like everyone else, that "It's almost impossible."
But Real Madrid's odds of winning the tie, although still slim, may be more positive than Barca's. As Cristiano Ronaldo's first half away goal, could prove vital for the Los Blancos, heading back to the Bernabeu.
Barcelona seemed to have been in danger following their 2-0 loss to AC Milan in the round of 16. However, a rampant 4-0 victory in the second leg was what followed and if the Blaugrana can pull off a miracle like this once again, the world will no doubt be in shock.
Jose Mourinho's men failed to deliver a positive impression of any sort. Their star attackers Cristiano Ronaldo and Mesut Ozil struggled to take charge. On the defensive front, Pepe had defended woefully allowing simple goals for Dortmund's man of the match - Robert Lewandowski. Four goals on the night for the Poland international may have just booked a ticket to Wembley for his side.
Ballon d'Or winner Lionel Messi wasn't 100 per cent to start the game. Therefore, if he can overcome his troubles, the Catalans may stand a chance with a strong start at the Camp Nou which could put pressure on the Bavarians. They, like Real Madrid cannot afford to concede a goal.
