Manchester City and Chelsea transfer target Neymar has hinted he may opt for a move to Barcelona when he decides to quit current side Santos.
The 21-year-old Brazilian international is highly sought after around Europe, with Chelsea especially having been keen on the youngster for several years.
But now it appears the lure of the Nou Camp could prove too much for Neymar, as he hinted in an interview with Radio Globo he could be on his way to the Catalan club, fuelling speculation he has already signed a pre-contract agreement to move to Spain after the 2014 World Cup.
‘Who isn’t a fan of Barcelona? I’m happy, I’m thankful for the affection,’ he said.
‘I feel I’m the happiest guy in the world, regardless of this or that team wanting to sign me.
‘I’m happy at the club I love. As I have always said, it’s up to me and my family [to decide my future].When the moment is right, I’ll tell everybody. But please stay calm.’
Neymar had already appeared to snub the advances of Premier League champions Manchester City, having omitted the FA Cup finalists from a list of top sides he would like to join.
‘I dream of playing for a big club like Barcelona, Real Madrid and Chelsea,’ he said.
